Oreo Birthday Cake
What's it all about?
“Let’s make an Oreo cake for the website,” said one of our team about seven years ago! “OK, but we’re not making a boring cake and just sticking whole Oreos on top,” said everyone. The Flavourtown Oreo Party cake was born, complete with syringes full of chocolate sauce.
If you’d like to add a message and personalise this cake, we will pipe in the middle of the cake and move the syringes to accommodate the personalisation.
Sponge: Four alternating layers of our Oreo-encrusted sponge and our specially developed Black Velvet cake (that uses a high-quality version of the cocoa powder in the actual cookies)
Filling: Filled with our Oreo classic vanilla seed buttercream.
Frosting: We’ve paired the Oreo Party Cake with our classic vanilla buttercream with generous handfuls of crushed Oreo crumbs stirred in! It has that proper cookies and cream taste but amped up with Lescure French butter and Tate and Lyle organic icing sugar.
Decoration: We’ve gone all Jackson Pollock with a mound of Oreos, buttercream poofs and swirls and two syringes filled with chocolate sauce for you to squirt on the cake (or just in your mouth). Finished with a Belgian chocolate drip and party sprinkles.

Cake care
Your Flavourtown cake is best eaten on the day you get your hands on it, but we know that often, our customers like to have their cake the day before the event. Storing your cake is easy; keep it in its box in a cool room or store it in the fridge if it’s particularly warm. If you keep your cake chilled, allow three to four hours for it to come to room temperature and for the sponge to soften.
Hand Delivery & Collection
London delivery is available for all our products. We deliver every day between 8am - 5pm, and you can choose your delivery date in checkout.
If you'd prefer to collect your order, you can collect from our Fulham and Richmond shops every day, or our Park Royal bakery between Monday - Saturday.
